Robot Cities
Through street reflections and light play the multilayered dialogue between fashion and the environment is captured. We step into a dreamlike world of metropolitan life and re-imagine elements of a personal story.
For me this window scene with “robot” mannequin strongly conjures up the sensitive and observant companion robot in the novel “Klara and the Sun”. The touching story by Kazuo Ishiguro is narrated by the “Artificial Friend” Klara, who observes a rapidly changing modern world and helps and saves her human teenage charge.
