The real, the staged, the imagined. I explore visual intrigue by capturing life’s reflections on staged realities.
In a festive holiday window, a stylish mannequin takes center stage, breathing life into the scene. Every detail, from lighting to fabric folds, contributes to the allure of my imagery. The mannequin becomes a symbol of timeless elegance, telling a visual tale where fashion communicates emotions and narratives. Live street and building reflections on the glass create layered compositions, forming new realities captured by my eye and camera lens. Each frame encapsulates moments where reality blends with the staged, creating a symphony of multi-layered effects. The single shot result is an unretouched and unmanipulated image of a pure and magical universe where a highly styled mannequin reigns as the silent sovereign of style and substance.
My technique of multilayered effects adds depth and new context to the scenes opening a sense of storytelling for anyone viewing the work.
